Description

Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Systems Analyst to work in one of our Corporate Locations!

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, and fast-paced technology team within Fidelity Corporate Technology, supporting Workday Integration Team. Support and improve enterprise HR technology platforms, with a strong focus on Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems. This role will drive delivery across critical initiatives including compensation, payroll, recruiting, talent management, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring platform stability, scalability, and engineering excellence.

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand key business drivers and requirements, going beyond simply gathering requirements to fully understand the “why” behind them. You will collaborate with development teams and technology partners to translate these needs into well-defined user stories and scalable system solutions that drive high-quality, timely delivery.

You will work with both new and existing technology products, performing in-depth systems analysis to ensure solutions align with business objectives. Through collaboration, analysis, and execution, you will help drive delivery outcomes while working towards continuous improvement across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine complex business and functional requirements

  • Translate business needs into well-defined user stories with clear business value and acceptance criteria

  • Partner with Product Managers to compose backlogs, support quarterly planning, and manage delivery priorities

  • Facilitate refinement sessions and ensure stories are ready for development using ATDD principles

  • Drive alignment across partners on scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies

  • Own user story validation and sign-off, ensuring delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standards

  • Analyze complex systems, data models, and workflows to recommend scalable solution approaches

  • Lead identification and management of risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across initiatives

  • Support and influence architectural and design discussions with engineering teams

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 4–6 plus years of experience as a System Analyst supporting complex technology solutions

  • A bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field

  • Solid experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices

  • Understanding of enterprise platforms, including Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems.

  • Proven ability to translate complex business problems into scalable, well-structured solutions

  • Strong experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and influencing decisions across teams

  • Experience managing product backlogs using tools like JIRA and Confluence

  • Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across initiatives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $31.03-$71.03 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
