As a Security Receptionist you serve as a key member of the Global Security Operations team, embodying the role of a Brand Ambassador for our organization. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with a team of dedicated security professionals.

This role is pivotal in creating a memorable experience for all Fidelity associates, visitors, vendors, and customers, ensuring they receive top-notch hospitality and safety assistance. You will be the first point of contact for all individuals entering our premises, representing Fidelity with professionalism, and adhering to security protocols.

This role is 45 hours a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with a 30-minute paid lunch break each shift.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and social skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Strong situational awareness and keen observation abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

  • Ability to perform optimally under stressful conditions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn new software.

Job Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet visitors, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere at our facilities while following established security procedures.

  • Perform all building access and check-in procedures, including issuing badges for guests and employees.

  • Manage the visitor management system or entry log to ensure accurate records.

  • Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and promptly report any security and safety concerns.

  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.

  • Utilize life safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, and radios when required (training will be provided).

  • Administer basic first aid and CPR (training will be provided).
