The position reports to the Director, Content Strategy & Production and provides an engaging opportunity for a content specialist to support product marketing, thought leadership, research, and more. You will join one of Fidelity’s fastest growing business units, centered on the innovative field of digital assets, or “crypto.”
The Purpose of Your Role
The Content Editor will operate as a content specialist within the marketing team, contributing as an editor for materials and content developed by the research group and produce original content to achieve core marketing objectives. The Content Editor will help ensure all content efforts across the business meet brand standards and align with industry trends, as well as the business roadmap.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Meticulous with excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills
- Demonstrate a commercial focus, crafting content that is not only educational, but drives fundamental business value
- Comfortable working across a dynamic team of marketers, designers, and digital specialists with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Experience producing long-form content such as blog posts and research reports, as well as demonstrated ability to write shorter form copy for websites, sales collateral, emails, and advertising
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a content marketing or copywriting role, with a focus on financial services or financial technology
- Experience producing content in regulated industries, working with legal and compliance partners
- Curiosity about crypto and ability to write and review content on sophisticated concepts related to blockchain technology and crypto markets
- Familiar with SEO and AEO best practices and how to integrate them into content
- Serve as a key editor and proofreader for content developed across teams, including research and marketing materials from various retail and institutional business units within Fidelity
- Conceptualize and create both short- and long-form content supporting Fidelity’s digital asset business, including website copy, sales collateral, industry research, and thought leadership pieces
- Help shape and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy spanning multiple business lines and services that rely on Fidelity Digital Assets for crypto expertise
- Partner closely with marketing peers and design to seamlessly integrate content into broader campaigns and other marketing initiatives
- Manage and continuously enhance the library of educational, research, and thought leadership content on FidelityDigitalAssets.com
