Full-Stack Software Engineer – Branch Digital Experience (BDX)
The Role
Are you an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to leverage your development skills in the financial services space? As an engineer in the BDX team, you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team, laser-focused on delivering first-class solutions for our customers. You will work across a wide range of technologies, bringing deep technical experience across Angular, NodeJS, micro-services, and cloud.
The Value You Deliver
As a Full-Stack engineer in BDX, you will be responsible for:

Working on 1 of our 6 squads, as part of an agile SCRUM team

Developing, maintaining, and testing solutions across the Vue/Angular-Node-API-AWS tech stack

Performing code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing

Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments

Effectively partnering and communicating with other engineers and stakeholders across BDX and the wider company

Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams

Implementing solutions that align with the wider Fidelity technology strategy
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
-
Bachelor's / Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering

Strong problem-solving skills within complex, distributed deployments

5+ years of hands-on development experience with Vue or Angular, NodeJS, and Java microservices

Good understanding of cloud-computing and software development on AWS

Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes

Comfortable working in a mature development environment that leverages standard CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc)

Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools – Splunk and Datadog

Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical teammates

A positive attitude and strong work-ethic
The Team
The BDX team builds and maintains digital solutions that enable Fidelity associates and clients to collaborate on critical service transactions. Our applications are used by many thousands of PI associates and Fidelity customers to complete a variety of important transactions, such as money movement and account opening.Our team is comprised of 6 squads, primarily based in North Carolina, New England and Texas. Our portfolio consists of 6 different products & 20+ applications. Our primary tech-stack is Angular, Node.js, REST APIs, and AWS.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 – $96.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors
