The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts.
Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure
Experience creating SDK’s in GO / Python Scripting
Hands on experience building scalable cloud applications.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
Passion for the DevOps culture.
Ability to work autonomously and without supervision to pick up challenges and meet deliverables.

Bonus skills

Familiarity with GitOps based tooling (ArgoCD)

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join the Container Management Platform team working in Fidelity Architecture and Engineering, who are responsible for enabling the next generation streaming platforms across Fidelity. We excel in the construction of high quality, secure and scalable cloud platforms using industry-leading engineering principles and practices. We are a global team which has a passion for open source and continuous learning while pursuing engineering perfection in the cloud in an open and visible culture.

Please see the below pay rate range for the work location of New Jersey only: $72.00-$102.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
