The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Fidelity Investments, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining our analytics platform for Fidelity Insurance Agency. This is your chance to create a significant impact by successfully implementing innovative data solutions that drive our business forward. Your expertise will help us achieve flawless execution in data management and analytics!

In this position, you will be:

Crafting, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine the best data solutions.
Ensuring data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

We are looking for a candidate with a blend of technical expertise and collaborative spirit. Specifically, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5 – 8 years of working experience.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, with exposure to data warehouse architecture.
Proficiency in SQL & Python.
Hand-on experience with AWS cloud platform (S3, Lamda, Glue, etc.) & Snowflake.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD.
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
Work experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Team

You will be a member of the FIA Data Analytics team within Core Wealth Platform Product Area. Your primary focus will be supporting the scale and modernization efforts of the platform, platform health, growth, application, and systems supporting the Fidelity Insurance Agency.
