The Role
Fidelity Charitable is looking for a UX Designer who is passionate about uncovering insights to make charitable giving simple and effective. We are crafting digital experiences that inspire donors to make more of a difference with their philanthropic dollars. It’s a fast-paced environment where decisions are customer-centric, data-focused, collaborative, and iterative.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • 3-5 years of UX design experience preferred.
  • 3+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred
  • Experience organizing, conducting, and/or using research to support evidence-focused design decisions a must.
  • Require an online portfolio to be considered. Use the STAR Method when explaining your work.
  • Understand and empathize with customer needs, motivations and behaviors, and translate them into compelling design.
  • Operational proficiency in Figma required.
  • Able to drive to design the overall end-to-end user experience – from the big picture (the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or flow.
  • Ability to create sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and other product artifacts to effectively communicate the 'why' behind your designs while aligning with product requirements.
  • Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better.
  • Meticulous and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Operational understanding of tools like Jira and Confluence preferred.
  • Collaboration with other UX designers and stakeholders.

The Team
The Fidelity Charitable Experience Design team is an established group which partners with business stakeholders across multiple giving experiences, user bases, and other business units across Fidelity. We bring expertise in UX design and research, accessibility, mobile design, design system creation, and strategic discovery to deliver exceptional experiences for giving. The team is viewed as empowered, human-centered partners working directly with the stakeholders and our Agile teams for the delivery of business outcomes that align to our mission to make giving accessible, simple, and effective.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 – $100.00 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors
