Senior Email Campaign Engineer
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented email campaign engineer who excels at building, executing, and deploying campaigns at scale within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role is focused on hands-on campaign production, QA, and process adherence.
The Senior Email Campaign Engineer will be responsible for translating defined campaign requirements into high-quality, error-free email deployments in SFMC and will work cross-functionally to ensure campaign deliverables are met with accuracy.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Expertise in email channel marketing
- In-depth experience and comfort level in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), specifically within Email Studio and Content Builder with User-Initiated and Triggered emails. Journey Build experience, a plus
- Ability to work with reusable modules and maintain consistency with brand guidelines
- Basic front-end HTML skills required, basic AMPscript and SQL skills a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality across all deliverables including email builds, QA, and deployment
- Ability to balance multiple concurrent campaigns, while adhering to processes and prioritizing accordingly
- Experience delivering campaigns on time, error-free, and aligned to requirements
- Excellent Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills required
- Curious and intellectually honest. Dedication to continuous growth, development, and improvement
- Ability to continuously develop and improve process / infrastructure within a constantly evolving team
- Comfortable leading and influencing through ambiguity and without authority
- Drives work forward independently while staying flexible as priorities shift
- SFMC certifications, a plus
The Purpose of Your Role
As a Senior Email Campaign Engineer within the central marketing function of Fidelity Wealth the purpose of your role is to deepen the relationship with millions of our customers by building and deploying personal, relevant, and timely promotional, service and regulatory email communications. In this capacity, you will serve as Fidelity’s Center of Excellence on current and emerging practices that power our customer obsessed email marketing programs.

The Value You Deliver
- The Senior Email Campaign Engineer will liaise across multiple teams to:
- Support campaign planning and execute email campaigns from requirements gathering through deployment. This includes ad hoc scheduled campaigns, automated batch, API triggers, and some Journey Builder campaigns
- Build and edit email code in SFMC using within Email Studio and Content Builder, using HTML, reusable modules, dynamic content and AMPscript
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to onboard new email programs and content to the email platform, SFMC, acting as the “voice of the business”
- Support cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert for the email channel, including but not limited to: template specifications, technical design, channel best practices, executional process and principles, data feed analysis, and platform capabilities
- How Your Work Impacts the Organization
The Email Engineering and Marketing Orchestration (EEMO) team works cross-functionally to support the end-to-end enablement and implementation of Wealth & Brokerage emails. Additionally, the team provides support to enhance procedural efficiency for email programs, and collaborates with partners to drive campaign effectiveness through capability enablement, implementation design, customer journey mapping, channel reporting, etc.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 – $70.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors
