The Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking for a best-in-class Front End Developer:

Senior Software Engineer – Power BI & Angular
The Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking for a best-in-class Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Power BI and Angular to design and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions and intuitive user interfaces.
You will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and Architects to define and implement technical strategies for reporting and UI development. This role demands hands-on development expertise across BI and front-end technologies and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality features. You’ll be expected to operate independently, contributing effectively with minimal supervision.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Power BI Development:
6+ years of experience building dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI.
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and implementing row-level security.
Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise systems and embedding reports in applications.
UI Development (Angular):
6+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
Experience integrating UI with RESTful APIs and backend services.
General Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of relational databases (Snowflake, Oracle, or similar) and SQL optimization.
Familiarity with Git and branching strategies for version control.
Adherence to best practices for testing (unit and integration) and code reviews.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for automated deployments.

Preferred:
BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in financial services, preferably in the Mutual Fund environment.

The Team
Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, preparing fund financial statements, monitoring fund trades, and managing liquidity.
