Software Engineer in Test (Desktop Solutions)

The Role
As a Principal software engineer in test you will be applying your strong Desktop application testing skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve Testing frameworks and automated test suites. You will also be guiding your team in adopting test automation frameworks and standard methodologies to optimize product solutions.
The Expertise You Have
- A Bachelor’s or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in title, Software engineering or related field
- 6 to 9 years of experience with building, debugging and supporting automation frameworks and suites
- Hands on experience in programming and scripting languages
- Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
- Experience with mocking frameworks
- Experience in crafting Testing Strategy & Best Practices is a plus
- Cloud experience is a must
The Skills You Bring
- Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security
- Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests
- Support the team in crafting reliable, accurate tests, and in integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health
- Enable the squad developing automation using outstanding Tools & Frameworks
