In the Fidelity Institutional Technology group, the team is responsible for providing electronic trading solutions for Fidelity’s Capital Markets division. This is a hands-on role as an individual contributor and responsibilities include systems analysis, documentation, and planning.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of Analysis experience, with a proven track record of delivery of complex technology projects
- Experience with Mainframe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members across the organization
- Experience with Agile methodology and JIRA desirable
- Previous experience with trading systems or brokerage technology, specifically in the equities and options area
- Knowledge and experience of taking complex capabilities and breaking them into clear and concise requirements with well-defined value and acceptance criteria
- Experience understanding the technology and software architecture of an application
- Experience working with QA and business partners on test scenarios
- Experience detecting scope changes and escalation of issues
- Ability to comprehend and articulate end-to-end system workflows
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and strive to meet the needs of a fast-paced, modernizing application
- Strong contributor with a collaborative work style
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate impediments appropriately
- Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and technology
- Effective management of project-related tasks and issues
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Lead the requirements gathering of legacy trading capabilities as we migrate to a modernized platform for our trading and brokerage applications
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to identify enhanced capabilities and workflows for modernized solutions
- Contribute to enhancing systems analysis practices across a global team
- Monitor documentation standards and best practices
Please see the below pay rate range for the work location of New Jersey only: $55.00-89.77 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
