Technical Operator, HTS Managed Events

We are currently sourcing for a Technical Operator to work in Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure Group in Boston, MA.Technical Operator This unique position will provide multi-purpose room operation for events held locally at the 245 Summer Street, Boston. This position will support the High Touch Services Managed Events team and will work directly with the larger team to support both local and virtual events. There are 4 physical multi-purpose rooms at this location, each with control rooms containing audio and video mixers, camara controllers, and full room systems to operate the room. The position is expected to review scheduled events, coordinate with the virtual team, attend planning meetings, secure and ultimately be accessible throughout the live event. The position requires pre-production calls, reviews and testing, and confirmation of meeting details. The position will provide the Managed Event team with a direct contact to handle the technical support of the physical MPRs in Boston.
The Team
This position will work with Fidelity’s High Touch Services team, specifically within the Managed Events team. The High Touch Services team is a small versatile technical team of @40-50 associates. The Managed Events team consists of 15 associates that work across High Touch Services to provide Live and Virtual Event Production, Board Support, Company Meeting Support, Client Sales Engagements, and Customized Technology Solutions.The Expertise You Have
- 3+ years of live event, audio visual, or technical support role.
- A communication leader.
- An organizational professional.
The Skills You Bring
- Operations of Video and Audio mixers, camera control, A/V routing.
- Video conferencing knowledge (Zoom preferable)
- Coordination/Production of Live Meeting/Event
- Deep technology knowledge and interests
- PC support knowledge
